The consumption of fertilizer in Indonesia can be estimated by establishing the amount of supply which is obtained by adding imports to the domestic production less exports. The amount of supply is considered equal to the amount of consumption, assuming that the amount of the national stock at the beginning of the year is the same as that at the end of the year.
