The European Investment Bank (EIB), the project financing institution of the European Community, is providing 24 million Ecus (6 billion Greek Drachmas) in long-term loans to the Greek Public Power Corporation (PPC), for environmental-friendly electricity production, the Bank announced in Luxembourg.
