Indonesia's plywood adhesive production capacity will increase, now that PT Phenol Swadaya Incorporation (PT PSI) has planned to set up a phenol formaldehyde (plywood adhesive) plant. Phenol formaldehyde is weather-resistant glue for exterior plywood. So far, the kind of plywood adhesive which is the most produced in Indonesia has been urea formaldehyde, which is used as glue for interior plywood.
