RESEARCH: GO-AHEAD FOR ANOTHER 1.6 BILLION ECUS FOR FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME

Summary:

On July 15, the Commission approved additional funding of 1,600 million Ecus (mEcus) for the EC's third research framework programme for the period 1990-1994. This additional funding is intended to allow for the continuance of activities being carried out within the 3rd framework programme during 1993 and 1994. Of the extra funds, 400 mEcus are earmarked for 1993 and 1200 mEcus for 1994.
