Mansions along Salt Lake's South Temple Street

Every Western city of substance had one--a street where the rich, nouveau and ancien, used pioneer earnings from mining or dry goods to build opulent homes. In Salt Lake City, this street was E. South Temple, once commonly called Brigham Street after Brigham Young, whose Beehive House sits at its western end. A tour of it makes a fine afternoon.
