Formic acid finds its applications mainly in the manufacture of pesticides, pharmaceuticals in the processing of leather, rubber and latex. It is a traditional export product of China. Since last year the formic acid market has gone out of recession and begun to turn from weak to brisk. The reasons can be summed up as follows.
