Indonesia's beer industry has had increasingly bright prospects due to improvements in the domestic economy. Despite the tendency to decline during the past five years, Indonesia's beer production is expected to increase in the coming years in response to a growing demand for this low-alcohol drink. Two beer producers have had a keen eye on this opportunity, and they have planned to expand the production capacity of their beer plants.
