Benarroch slates boutique in NY; Leaving Maximilian

NEW YORK -- Spanish furrier Elena Benarroch is giving up her salon at Maximilian Fur Co. to open her first fur and leather boutique in the U.S. this fall on Madison AVenue.

A spokesman for Benarroch said the designer is completing negotiations to lease a vacant store on the northeast corner of Madison AVenue and 64th Street. The site was most recently occupied by San Francisco designer Helga Howie.
