MIAMI, April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Cortisol Medical Research Inc. today announced that through its joint venture Jamaica Cortisol Medical Research Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has received approval from the Jamaican Food and Drug Administration, to market its drug, Novolid (TM) for the prevention and treatment of symptoms of stress and aging.
Novolid is a cortisol antagonist drug, i.e., it has the capability of lowering cortisol level previously elevated.
Novolid will be available in Jamaica only under medical prescription or in certain test marketing areas.
