Circle K Breaking New Ground With Acquisitions, Fast Foods
The business of selling convenience these days usually means selling gasoline, and Circle K seems to have hit on the right combination. In the fiscal year ending April 30, 1985, Circle K sold 549 million gal. of gasoline through 1,720 of its then 2,669 store chain. With the total number of stores now up to about 3,150, the company is shooting for 700 million gal. in the current fiscal year, or a 27.5% increase over 12 months.
