Moungers establish holding company for Pacific Trail.

NEW YORK -- Mounger Corp. has been formed by the Mounger family as a holding company for Pacific Trail, Inc., the privately owned outerwear company, and Catchit Sportwear, Inc., which was acquired by Pacific Trail in 1982.

Larry C. Mounger, who has been Pacific Trail president since 1974, has assumed the position of chairman and chief executive officer of the new company. He also holds these titles at Pacific Trail.

The new parent company was formed, according to Mounger, because Pacific Trail and Catchit are growing so rapidly, and he wants to concentrate on the financial ...
