Allied Corp. unveils nylons for wider apparel range

In a move aimed at broadening its stance in the fine-denier nylon fiber market, Allied Corp. this week launched several new yarn variants, two new trademarks and new marketing programs for both knit and woven intimate apparel and outwerwear.

The trademarks, unveiled Wednesday at a special press and industry breakfast at the Water lcub here, are:

Capima--a group of high-filament-count 40 and 70-denier nylon yarns with "cottony' esthetics for woven fabrics.

Creme de Captiva--an upscale version of Captiva nylon that ...
