Du Pont Co. to consolidate production of cellophane at its Tecumseh, Kansas plant.

WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Du Pont Co. today announced plans to discontinue production of cellophane at its Clinton, Iowa, plant and consolidate manufacture of the product at its Tecumseh, Kan., facility early next year.

This action would eliminate approximately 230 jobs at the Clinton plant.
