NEW YORK -- Lace is a key contributor to the enthusiasm retailers are feedling for the main floor accessories business this fall. Consumers generally seem to be on a main floor buying spree, snapping up hliday jewelry, gloves, hats, scarves, belts and handbags delivered early. And retailers expect the momentum to carry into the actual holiday season. Some say they are expecting gains in excess of 30 percent for the season.
