Gibraltar Financial Corp. acquires Queen City Savings and Loan of Seattle.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., July 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Gibraltar Financial Corporation of California (NYSE: GFC) has acquired Queen City Savings and Loan Association of Seattle, Wash., it was announced today.

The transaction, which has been approved by the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, provides for Gibraltar Financial to acquire the assets and assume the liabilities of Queen City. Terms were not disclosed.

Queen City operates five branches in Greater Seattle and has assets of approximately $240 million. It has been renamed Gibraltar Savings of Washington and will ...
