PARIS -- Francois Lesage was born into beads and spangles, as he likes to say, bounced as a babe on the knoee of Madeleine Vionnet and introduced as a young man to such fabled couturiers as Worth and Schiaparelli. Lesage enjoyed a glittery childhood thanks to his parents, founders of the business that bears his family's last name, perhaps the most prestigious and proficient embroidery house in the world.
