HOLLYWOOD, Fla., March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The market for Compact Disc (CD) audio is estimated to grow exponentially to as much as $200 million in 1984 as hardware producers introduce lower-priced players and record companies release more pop and rock titles on CD, according to Emiel Petrone, senior vice president of PolyGram Records and chairman of the Compact Disc Group.
