Dorchester Gas Corp. to defend itself against counterclaims by Damson Oil.

DALLAS, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to inquiries, Dorchester Gas Corporation (AMEX: DGS) today stated that it expects to defend itself vigorously against the recent counterclaims by Damson Oil Corporation and a class action suit related to Dorchester's proxy solicitation materials mailed on or about Nov. 15, 1983 in connection with Dorchester's 1983 annual meeting.
