Il ne s'agit pas du tome 2 mais bien du tome 3 d'un ensemble dont le tome 1, Le prince de l'Eglise, couvrant la periode de la naissance a 1959 a ete publie en 1982. Le tome 2, Dans la tempete, traitant de la periode de 1959 a 1967, a paru en 1986. Le present ouvrage parait quatorze ans plus tard, a la demande expresse de Leger qui avait suggere de ne le publier qu'apres sa mort. On ne peut parler de biographie au sujet de cet ouvrage sans y ajouter quelques qualificatifs. ...
