In June, for an entire week, we were pleased to host the 18th-century British military firearms historian Dr. DeWitt Bailey. He came to study our collection in preparation for writing two books: Pattern Dates for British Ordnance Small Arms 1718-1783 and British Military Small Arms in North America 1737-1783.
