Individual action should be governed by social boundary networks rather than entities, or faces, of power. Instead of investing authority in specific groups or people, authority should be disbursed through a societal structure that delimits areas of possible action. This system would expand the concept of socially responsible freedom and allow greater individual participation in establishing boundaries.
