Hunt County commissioners unanimously voted to participate in a federal energy efficiency grant program during Monday s regular meeting of the Commissioners Court.
After some clarification by Judge John L. Horn, commissioners approved the participation of Hunt County in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants (EECBG) Program.
The allocation that has been set aside for us is $100,000, said Judge Horn. The notification of intent is non-binding. There s still time ...
