INTRODUCTION
A rubber compound usually contains a lot of different ingredients. Besides the polymer, these can be fillers (often carbon black), vulcanization agents including accelerators and retarders, antioxidants, antizonants, waxes, oils, processing coagents, piginents, and so on. Most important for an elastic rubber material are the vulcanization agents, which create the crosslinks in the material.
