Pres Bill Clinton testified before the Office of the Independent Counsel and a congressional grand jury. He took responsibility for both his public and private actions in answering questions no US citizen would ever want to answer. Clinton admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with former White House staff member Monica Lewinsky but denied asking anyone at any time to lie, to hide or destroy evidence or to take other unlawful action related to the case.
