Raytheon Company won a $5.8 million contract modification for engineering services for the Patriot Air and Missile Defense system. The contract calls for Raytheon to provide systems analysis, software and hardware engineering, testing, and logistics support.

This agreement marks the eighth modification to the $128 million contract awarded in January 2009 by the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. A previous contract modification for $8.1 million was awarded in August 2009.
