Raytheon Company has been awarded a $5.8 million contract modification for engineering services for the Patriot Air and Missile Defense system. This is the eighth modification to the $128 million contract awarded in

January 2009 by the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. A previous contract modification for $8.1 million was awarded in August 2009. The contract calls for Raytheon to provide systems analysis, software and hardware engineering, testing and logistics support.
