Protestantism takes on a new image as it spreads among the poor and the marginalized. This is a lesson that Latin American Protestants can learn from their Pentecostal counterparts. Protestantism in the region can only be sustained in the 21st century if classic Protestantism, as expounded in continuity in truth by the Word, is melded with popular Protestantism emphasizing continuity in life by the Spirit.
