Funding needs for the first phase of renovation and repairs to the city's water treatment system highlight the agenda for tonight's Common Council meeting.

Resolution 70-2009 calls for City Treasurer Mark Woods to issue bond anticipation notes in the amount of $6.3 million and is sponsored by council members A.J. Dolce, Robert George and Kevin Muldowney. Third Ward Councilwoman Rose Floramo declined to be listed as a sponsor. Councilman-at-Large James Muscato cannot, by council rules, sponsor legislation.
