United States: City work among road area projects.

There will be a number of road projects in the works in Oneida County this coming week, including the continuation of the Route 46 and 49 projects in Rome.

Construction work on Route 46 between East Dominick and Chestnut streets includes lane shifts, lane closures and intermittent, flagger-controlled work zones. Paving operations, curb and sidewalk replacement, signal work, and pavement markings are progressing. Expect to encounter raised manholes and rough road surfaces at intersections within the work zones until paving is completed.
