Sep. 4--Houston's Southwest Bank of Texas has taken aim at Fort Worth-based Southwest Bank, which recently opened a loan office in Houston under the name "Southwest Bank."

Filing a federal lawsuit in Houston against Southwest Bank on Wednesday, Southwest Bank of Texas, with 17 locations in Houston, pointed to its 10-year use of the name in the Houston area.

Even its Web site is www.-swbanktx.com, the lawsuit stated. And the slogan on the site exclaims, "There's no other bank like us!"
