Northrop Grumman Corp. Unveils Restructuring Plan, Will Cut 2,100 Jobs.

Aug. 25--Northrop Grumman Corp. said Monday that it will cut 2,100 jobs in the next 28 months and shed some plants in an effort to cut costs by $300 million a year.

Some of the job cuts could come from its Dallas-based unit that builds parts for the bodies of commercial planes. The Los Angeles-based company will decide where cuts will be made in the next several months, said Georgia Engle, a spokeswoman at the firm's Dallas unit.
