VANCOUVER, Aug. 24 /CNW-PRN/ - Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (TSE: LGE) (Lions Gate) today announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 1998. The results for the period reflect the consolidated contributions of Lions Gate Films, Lions Gate Studios, Mandalay Television, Mandalay Pictures, Cin -Groupe and Lions Gate Media.

Consolidated revenue for the three months ended June 30, 1998 was $18.2 million. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) was $157,000. Included in the consolidated net loss and earnings ...
