Species of salmon using the Snake Columbia River system and North Thompson River of British Columbia are dying. In 1991, reports indicated that the migration of salmon in the Snake-Columbia river system has decreased from 10-16 mil to only 2 mil. Although some have blamed these developments on other environmental factors, some scientists believe the river system is contaminated with artificial fluoride.
