SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 6, 1998--Boole & Babbage Inc. (NASDAQ:BOOL) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved an expansion of its stock repurchase program authorizing the company to purchase up to 1,000,000 shares of its common stock in addition to the 750,000 shares previously authorized by the Board in July 1997.
Since that time the company has repurchased approximately 715,000 shares at a cost of $15.3 million. The company currently has approximately 28.2 million shares outstanding. All per share amounts have been adjusted for ...
