Pres Bill Clinton believes that the proposed Equal Pay Act sponsored by Congresswoman DeLauro and Sen Daschle will be able to eliminate the gap between the wages of men and women. A report issued by the Council of Economic Advisers showed that women are earning approximately 75 cents for every dollar of men. Similarly, the report released by the Dept of Labor showed the continued existence of employment discrimination.
