THE SHIV Sena and the BJP released a joint manifesto on Monday, with emphasis on farmers, Mumbai and the Marathi manoos. In a first for a political party, the BJP also announced 15 per cent reservation for economically backward classes as opposed to caste-based reservation. Sena supreme Bal Thackeray has always opposed caste-based reservation.
