Kineto Wireless, Inc., the key innovator and leading supplier of solutions that enable delivery of mobile services over broadband, announced a software developers kit (SDK) for mobile device vendors looking to support voice and SMS over LTE based on the recently released VoLGA specifications.
"SMS will play a key role, not as a commercial messaging service but as an enabler for provisioning [LTE] data services and roaming," said Carrie Pawsey, senior analyst with Ovum, cautioning mobile operators in a recent report.
