TOKYO - Mitsubishi Motors Corp. and Nissan Motor Co. are struggling. Both reported huge worldwide losses for the fiscal year that ended in March, and both carry crushing levels of debt.
Nissan is attacking its problems aggressively. But Mitsubishi does not have the same fire in its gut.
"I still have some doubts as to whether they have a sense of urgency," said Fuyuki Fuji-wara, auto analyst at Salomon Smith Barney Japan Ltd.
