The meeting 'Jacques Lacan: Television' sponsored by the magazine 'October' and French psychoanalytic journal 'Ornicar' was held from Apr 9-10, 1987 in New York, NY. The highlight of the event was the screening of the only television interview of Lacan entitled 'Psychoanalysis' which was aired in France in 1973. Papers on Lacan where then presented, the most notable being the ones by Jeffery Melhman and Yugoslavian critic Slavoj Zizek.
