Operators of finish turning, threading and grooving tools usually resort to manual calculations in making offset adjustments during their production runs. Parametric programming enables users to make offsets from within the main program and make calculations that will determine the value by which an offset must be adjusted. However, a better technique was devised with the use of custom macro, which eliminates the redundant commands required in parametric programming.
