WOMEN'S studies is truly phenomenal, something like parthenogenesis. In 1957 The Lunatic Fringe by Gerald W. Johnson contained a chapter about Victoria Woodhull, but now she gets regular full-length biographies. I reviewed one three years ago, and two more have been published so far this year.
