BASKING RIDGE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 4, 1998--AT&T today announced the first-ever telemedicine link between the snowy reaches of Mount Everest and the United States so that medical and other data on members of an upcoming climb can be monitored remotely. Health data on the climbers will be available at AT&T's site on the World Wide Web so that people around the world can track their status.
