IT'S Saturday afternoon, just before 2 on the August bank holiday weekend. I'm off for a 10-day break and I'm running late courtesy of a herd of very relaxed cows. Apparently they're out for an afternoon stroll through the remote village of Accony.

(For your information, it's a sparsely populated townland teetering on the edge of the Atlantic, beyond Louisburgh in Co. Mayo.)
