Phoenix Park murder victim's identity remains a mystery

MYSTERY continues to surround the identity of a woman and the motive for her brutal murder after she was found stabbed to death in Dublin's Phoenix Park.

As gardai launched a murder investigation, senior officers admitted that they did not know whether she was Irish or a non-national or whether she was killed elsewhere and her body later dumped at the scene.
