The conservation of Galena Lodge located in central Idaho was a result of the success of the 1994 Help Save Galena campaign. Built in the 1880s, the lodge was preserved by using the funds raised by the campaign. Presently, the lodge has one of the prettiest cross-country skiing trails in the US.
