Jews and Catholics can enter a third millennium of coexistence by remembering guideposts that mark reconciliation between the two communities. These include eliminating the tradition of Catholic contempt for Jews, learning to appreciate the bonds that tie the groups together, Jewish examination of their beliefs about Catholic beliefs, and joint effort for social problems.
