The anti-smoking campaign tugs heartstrings by referring to the 'children' who are suckered into addiction by profit-mad tobacco interests. They claim young smokers are enslaved, ignoring millions who quit without treatment. Statistics show that more than 93% of American smokers are adults.
The rallying cry of the anti-smoking crusade may be 'Save the Children.' But adults are the real target.
