The Barber Institute of Fine Arts in Birmingham, England, has long been a niche for some of England's contemporary painters. The art gallery was founded by Lady Barber in commemoration of her late husband, Sir Henry Barber. Some of the works gracing the gallery are Simone Martini's 'St John the Evangelist,' Cosimo Roselli's 'Adoration of the Infant Jesus,' Mabuse's 'Hercules and Deianara,' Poussin's 'Tancred and Erminia,' and Claude's 'Pastoral Landscape.'
