Pres Bill Clinton addressed the 52nd Session of the UN General Assembly in New York, NY. In his remarks, the President cited the UN's efforts in promoting peace, security and international cooperation within the framework of democracy. Recognizing the country's important role to ensure UN's success in the 21st century, Pres Clinton reaffirmed his commitment to support UN initiatives in the struggle for peace and prosperity.
