Mr Viktor Rashnikov Chairman of the board of directors of OJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works visited a construction site of the joint Russian-Turkish enterprise MMK-Atakas in the town of Iskenderun in Turkey.

The decision to build a new metallurgical facility was made in May 2007 by the two companies MMK and Atakas. MMK is the owner of 50.0000045% of shares of the new enterprise. The new production will be located at two sites in Iskenderun and in Istanbul. The designed capacity of the Plant is 2.3 million tonnes of flat steel products. ...
